I had to do this because you must install Windows from a DVD, and not the USB drive if you want to boot legacy, also the hard drive must be using an MBR table, and not GPT.I spent countless hours and reinstalled Windows 10 twenty times trying to get it to work, and after doing a legacy boot, it took only one install and everything was working fine afterwards.For me, I had to disable the Generic PNP monitor after updating my AMD drivers in order for my brightness to work properly, and I didn't have to do the REGEDIT trick, but otherwise I had no other hardware issues.I'm hoping that this post will save somebody loads of time if they are looking to install Windows 10 on their MBP.
